              In our Life, there are many applications which has theory of oscillation.oscillatory Motion is one of the fundamental Motion of Particles.Here, we will see a basic example of oscillatory Motion.As shown in picture,There is block of mass M which is conected with spring.The opositside of block is conected with Disk by rode.The disk is placed into vessel containing liquid.When we disturb the block in vertical plane from its static state.It oscillates in vertical plane.So the questaion is that when the block will stop..??

 A FORMAL STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

           When the block is in static state, Take that point as Y=0.Now,To disturb the block. We have given The Force Fd to block. If ’b’ is damping constant of liquid and Velocity of the block is ’v’ then,

Resistive force : Fd = −bv

​

If k is spring constant than,

Restoring Force : Fy = −ky

​

Here,disturbing force is oposite of restoring force and resistive force so,
